Our story

Hi — we’re Stefanie and Kathy, the two friends behind Scrub And Glory. We’ve known each other since the fifth grade, so this business is built on a friendship that’s decades in the making. When we decided to start something of our own, we wanted it to be work we’re genuinely proud of, done for neighbors we actually know.

Stefanie has always had the entrepreneurial itch. She ran her own breakfast diner and sold it right before COVID, then spent a few years on the most important job there is — raising her three kids — while pitching in at the family masonry business. She kept coming back to something she honestly loves: cleaning. There’s something satisfying, almost invigorating, about walking into a space and leaving it better than you found it.

Kathy is the friendly, outgoing one — the kind of person who never really meets a stranger. She’s spent years working in and cleaning commercial kitchens, so this isn’t a career pivot out of nowhere for her; it’s a natural next step into work she already knows how to do well. Going into business with her lifelong friend felt like the most natural thing in the world — two people who trust each other completely, doing the work side by side.

We both love this town and the people in it, and Scrub And Glory lets us do work we’re proud of while we’re at it. When we clean your home, we treat it the way we’d want our own treated: carefully, honestly, and with pride.

That’s the whole idea behind the name. Strong work. Clean spaces. Better places.
